Cory Fischer

Chief Engineer (The Spring District)

Cory Fischer has served as Chief Engineer at The Spring District with Wright Runstad & Company since 2020. In this role, he has been involved in the building’s construction process, working directly with the development team to incorporate operational considerations from the ground up. Upon project completion, he assumed responsibility for tenant improvement oversight, commissioning, personnel training, warranty tracking, and small projects.

His primary focus is building compliance, preventative maintenance, energy efficiency, and operational readiness across a diverse tenant base spanning multiple ownership portfolios totaling approximately 1.6 million square feet. During his tenure, he has increased ENERGY STAR scores by 10 points across the portfolio’s most demanding sites and improved building resiliency through communication infrastructure upgrades.

Prior to joining Wright Runstad, Cory served four years in the U.S. Army, including a combat zone deployment, and subsequently worked as a security supervisor at a luxury hotel. He also held maintenance leadership roles supporting both commercial and medical office properties, including critical infrastructure for high-tech tenants in South Lake Union and 24/7 operational continuity for medical facilities.
